We are a London based start-up software developer, which is experiencing rapid growth. We are obsessed about helping launch new ventures, or to level up existing businesses, by building best-of-breed apps, websites, and software. This exciting role offers a great opportunity for an individual to forge ahead in their sales career in a cutting-edge growth market.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a remote Client Manager / BDM, to make first contact with prospects, to book meetings, and to follow up. We are looking for a curious, versatile, adaptable, tech and commercially savvy person to join this founding team.

You will spend most of your time calling people out of the blue, so you will need to win them over quickly, ask open and probing questions, clearly articulate our value proposition, and explain technical products in a concise manner.

Previous experience generating business via outbound activities and calls is essential.

What you will deliver:
- Conduct first outreach to prospects, and book meetings
- Relentlessly focused on outbound sales activities
- Taking a customer-centric approach to progressing prospects through the sales process
- Support the sales team in administrative tasks
- Record all sales activity in our CRM (we use Hubspot)
- Build and maintain an accurate pipeline of live opportunities
- Prospect and client follow up
- Support the sales team in administrative tasks, such as managing inboxes, responding to clients, and creating NDAs (training will be provided)
- Contribute creative ways to find leads and opportunities

About you:
· Ideally prior telesales / telemarketing / sales experience
· Fluent business English, written and spoken
· Understand the “numbers game” of sales, and willing to make high volumes of calls
· Ability to communicate clearly and concisely whilst building rapport and trust
· Customer-centric approach to sales; understand prospect needs, able to handle objections and remove barriers
· High personal standards, and have a ‘can-do’ mindset
· High capacity for self-direction, ability to work well alone
· Experience of working in Software and / or Application sales would be a significant advantage
· Adaptable and flexible to change withing an evolving business
· A strong multi-tasker, and comfortable working in a demanding start-up environment
· Process driven, and methodical in the way you approach your work
· Committed to self-development and self-improvement
· Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, with experience of using a CRM (Hubspot)

Please note: This role will be talking to clients in US EST, Central, Mountain, and Pacific Time zones, Monday to Friday, although from time to time, additional hours may be required.
