Senior PHP Developer

ConveyThis is on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Senior PHP/MySQL Developer to join our growing team. This is a fully remote position, but candidates must be able to work in sync with our New York office time zone.

We are seeking a candidate who has 5+ years of progressively complex experience in PHP and MySQL. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of our software stack, including PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, GIT, and Bootstrap, and have a proven track record of managing large-scale projects and teams.

Responsibilities:

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient PHP and MySQL code.
Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
Develop and maintain our current web applications.
Collaborate with our team to design new features and applications.
Work with GIT for version control and deployment.

Requirements:

10+ years of PHP and MySQL development experience.
Extensive knowledge of JavaScript and Bootstrap.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
