PHP/WordPress Developer

Smart Tek Solutions is a leading IT service provider serving Fortune 500 companies in the US. Our goal is to become a leading employer in Europe, and we are now looking for a talented and experienced PHP/WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team.

Requirements:
-Experience with PHP programming 4+ years;
-Experience with WordPress development at least 2 years;
-Experience with Laravel at least 2 years;
-Experience in building and maintaining custom web applications, especially CRM systems;
-Deep understanding of MySQL database management and optimization;
-Proficiency in JavaScript (jQuery) for client-side scripting and enhancing user experience;
-Strong CSS knowledge, including preprocessors like Less and SCSS.
-Experience with version control using Git.

Will be a plus:
-Familiarity with Docker for local development and deployment;
-Understanding of Nginx web server configuration and optimization;
-Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services for deployment and hosting.

Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement various functionalities primarily interacting with third-party APIs within the WordPress environment;
-Provide support and maintenance for custom CRM built on Laravel;
-Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems;
-Ensure code quality, scalability, and performance of developed solutions;
-Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to propose innovative solutions.
