Senior C Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior C Software Engineer to help us with the development of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) solutions.

What to expect?

Our client is a cutting-edge telecommunications company that specializes in providing Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) solutions. They offer innovative and reliable communication services, including cloud-based phone systems, virtual phone numbers, and seamless integration with existing business setups.

How many stages of the interview are there?

- Interview with the Recruiter - up to 30 min.;
- Technical interview with our internal specialists - up to 1 hour;
- Technical interview with the client - up to 1 hour;
- Non-technical interview on the client’s side.

Requirements:

- 4+ years of working experience using C;
- Strong interest in and understanding of telephony;
- Telco/IMS experience;
- Experience with signaling standards such as SIP, DIAMETER;
- Proven track record in adhering to deadlines and keeping projects on track;
- Familiarity with Kamailio, RTPEngine, FreeSwitch, OpenSIP;
- Experience with Redis, MySQL, Docker, Kubernetes, RTP;
- Upper-intermediate or higher level of English.

Would be a plus:

- Proficiency in Python.

Responsibilities:

- Maintenance of the product and new features development;
- Direct communication with the customer by text messages;
- Participation in the technical decision-making process;
- Taking part in technical discussions and contributing to the development process;
- Work closely with the project’s team, including the project coordinator and engineers, to translate business requirements into technical solutions;
- Create and maintain technical documentation for code, processes, and best practices.
