Senior C++ Developer (Qt, cloud)

Project description
One of the world's largest providers of products and services to the energy industry has a need to develop and support cloud-based enterprise information system in Oil & Gas domain. Our project is stable, long-term and constantly adopts new technologies. Work supposes close cooperation with Customer team located in Houston and following Agile principles. Our team is senior, supportive and friendly.

Responsibilities
Work with the development team following Landmarks Agile development practices.
Design, estimate, implement features and bug fixes as prioritized by the Product Owner.
Maintain a high level of quality in coding, writing unit tests, documentation and testing thoroughly before passing it to QA for verification.
Keep up to date with existing and emerging technologies relevant to the role.
Communicate and escalate issues in a clear and timely manner.

Skills
Must have
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
4+ years of experience in Software development with excellent understanding of design principles and best practice.
3 -5 years of experience with medium to large scale cloud platform development (AWS or Azure), deployment, automation, and support.
Experience in Software development using C/C++ on Linux/Windows platforms.
Experience in UI development using Qt.
Experience with multithreading programming.
Familiarity with build pipeline tools and technologies such as: Jenkins, Gitlab Runner.
Networking in the Cloud (DevOps), knowledge of firewalls, load balancers.
Experience writing unit tests.
Experience using IaC using Terraform/Go, familiarity with Ansible and Terragrunt.
Familiarity working with Git and Azure DevOps.
Experience working in an agile environment.
Must be self-motivated but needs to work well in a team environment.
Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have
Experience with Javascript, Matrix Math, SQL.
Mathematical skills to develop new and maintain existing algorithms.
Familiarity with secure development and static code analysis.
Experience working in the Oil and Gas industry.
