Senior WordPress Backend Developer

Location: Remote

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior WordPress Backend Developer to lead the development and support of our WordPress-based web application. Your expertise will be a key factor in creating high-quality and reliable backend functionality, ensuring flawless performance and scalability of our application.

Responsibilities:
- Leading the development and optimization of WordPress backend functionality.
- Integration with external APIs and services.
- Optimization of application performance and scalability.
- Ensuring a high level of security and data protection for users.
- Making key technical decisions and participating in architectural discussions.

Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience with WordPress and PHP.
- Deep understanding of WordPress architecture and its API.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience working with MySQL databases.
- Experience integrating with external services and APIs.
- High level of skills in web application security.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead a team.

Nice to have:
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
- Knowledge and experience with frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
