About product:
Leading U.S. based technology developer (named cool vendor by Gartner) opens the Technical Writer position in its Kiev branch office. The successful candidate is intended to analyze existing documentation, create new documentation packages for a family of own products which are being developed in direct collaboration with world leading IT companies, such as Oracle, Microsoft, IBM.

Skills we are looking for: 
- Advanced/Proficient English.
- Experience in writing technical and user-oriented documentation for software products (at least 2 years of experience as Technical Writer).
- Strong editing/writing skills.
- Knowledge of documentation development workflow and instructional design techniques.
- Communication skills.
- Candidate should be able to work on multiple complex projects.

Will be a plus: 
- Knowledge of the processes involved in documentation development.
- Knowledge of UI design standards.
- Knowledge of basic documentation standards.
- General understanding of the “single source” and “re-use” approaches.
- Ability to create and process illustrations (knowledge of image capturing and processing tools).
- Basic HTML and markdown knowledge.

Responsibilities: 
- Write and proof-read own, as well as co-workers’ documentation for content, format, design and style.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and have strong work initiative.
- Adhere to style and help create and maintain corporate style.
- Interpret functional and technical specification documents and produce end-user documentation.
- Collaborate with development team on content and function of the documentation.
- Work tightly in a team environment with developers, testers, project managers.
