Senior Front-End Engineer (offline)

We are looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer to join a product Belgium company


Project:
Digital Shipping Marketplace and Transportation Platform, that provides instant data and e-mail processing, instant Cargo-to-Ship matching, freight trading and contract management, digital documentation flow, freight finance, and supply chain management solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop user-centric features with React.js (version 16) and TypeScript, transforming designs and wireframes into high-caliber code.
- Enhance the performance of components for optimal functionality across diverse web-enabled devices and browsers.
- Elevate web application's responsiveness and user experience.
- Work closely with back-end developers and designers on product development initiatives.
- Draft functional specifications documents and guidelines, besides crafting high-quality mockups and prototypes.
- Advocate for and apply a Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodology to ensure robust testing of components.
- Keep abreast of new technological trends and partake in team discussions regarding technology strategies.

Requirements:
- Possess 3 to 5 years of Front-End development experience, with a strong emphasis on React.js and TypeScript.
- Demonstrated expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and contemporary JavaScript/ECMAScript standards.
- Deep understanding of React.js and TypeScript fundamentals, including state management, hooks, and the lifecycle of components.
- Proficient with React.js architecture (Flux or Redux) and adept at integrating with RESTful APIs.
- Skilled in utilizing front-end development tools and pipelines.
- Knowledge of CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
- Experience with version control tools, notably Git.

Nice to have:
- Previous experience running teams using Agile Development methodologies
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer science or relevant
- Upper-intermediate level of English
