Senior Solutions Architect

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Solutions Architect to shape the architectural direction of our solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with our business goals. You will have proven experience as a solution architect at all levels of technical architecture, including infrastructure, software, and data.


Responsibilities:

Define and drive the overall technology and engineering architecture strategy, aligning it with business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into architectural solutions.
Create detailed architectural designs, blueprints, and technical specifications for complex systems and projects.
Lead the evaluation and selection of technologies, frameworks, and tools to be used in development.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural best practices.
Review and assess the quality of code and architectural implementations, conducting regular code reviews.
Identify and mitigate architectural risks, addressing performance, scalability, security, and other concerns.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Lead the development of proof-of-concept projects to validate architectural decisions and feasibility.
Act as a subject matter expert on architecture-related matters, both internally and externally.
Collaborate with product managers to ensure alignment between product roadmaps and technical architecture.


Requirements:
Proven experience as a Senior Solutions Architect or similar role in technology/engineering.
Extensive experience in software/systems architecture, design, and development.
Proficiency in multiple programming languages and a deep understanding of software engineering principles.
Proficiency in C# and Azure Cloud, especially on Azure Health Data Services
Strong knowledge of architectural patterns, cloud computing, microservices, and containerization.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Leadership and mentoring capabilities with a track record of fostering technical talent.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and drive consensus on architectural decisions.
Desirable: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
Experience in designing and implementing hybrid and multi-cloud solutions.
Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes in Azure.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD.
