About the position of Front-End Developer:
As a Front-End Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between design and code. Furthermore, you will work closely with our Lead Developer. Your tasks and responsibilities are diverse and can be divided into groups as follows, though not limited to them.
Responsibilities in co-designing and developing web applications using the Vue.js (Vue2 and Vue3) framework:
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, backend developers, and project managers, to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Developing and implementing responsive web applications using the Vue.js (Vue2 and Vue3) framework.
Writing clean, modular, and maintainable code while adhering to coding best practices and standards.
Optimizing application performance and ensuring high-quality user experiences across different devices and browsers.
Collaborating with backend developers to integrate frontend components with backend APIs and services.
Responsibilities in testing and maintaining our web applications:
Conducting thorough debugging of frontend applications to ensure quality and identify and fix issues or bugs.
Troubleshooting and resolving software defects and issues in a timely manner.
Responsibilities in further building our capabilities as a team:
Staying up-to-date with the latest frontend development trends and technologies, sharing knowledge and insights with the team.
Collaborating effectively with team members across different countries and identifying areas for improvement while recommending new ideas.
Our ideal new Front-End Developer possesses the following experience, expertise, and personal characteristics:
Ability to have regular business trips to Chernivtsi, Ukraine and to the Netherlands.
Proficiency (around 3 years) in front-end development.
Required experience with HTML & CSS, JavaScript, Vue 2, Vue 3, Vuex, Webpack, Rest API, and Git.
Strong plus for experience in React, Typescript, LESS/SASS, UI/UX, Docker, and TDD is a plus.
Familiarity with frontend build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm).
Understanding of responsive design principles and experience implementing responsive web applications.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Understanding of UX/UI design principles.
Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Upper-intermediate level of English (both written and verbal).
