Senior Embedded AOSP Engineer

Requirements:

• 5+ years software/firmware development experience;
• Experience with Embedded Android/Android BSP specifically in video/audio streaming;
• Proficiency in Java and C++;
• Understanding and ability to modify code in C;
• Experience with GStreamer framework on developer level;
• Experience with video or graphics software technologies (V4L, VAAPI, ffmpeg, OpenMAX, OpenGL, etc.);
• Understanding of video and audio streaming protocols (RTP, RTSP, etc.), codecs (H.264/H265, VP9 etc.) and related technologies is highly desirable;
• Experience with cameras integration or camera subsystem customizations in AOSP;
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills, self-motivated and independent contributor;
• Understanding of networking: Ethernet, IP, TCP, UDP;
• English B1+.

Responsibilities
• Search for, integrate, and modify audio/video streaming components, middleware and interfaces to user-space applications for the Video/Audio Conferencing/Streaming solutions;
• Drive architecture and execution software and hardware with cross-functional teams;
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system;
• Write well structured, testable, efficient, and maintainable code;
• Board bring up and hardware design validation related to video/audio.
