Security and Privacy Presales Support Engineer

Description

Member of the Information Security & Data Protection Office, acting as a liaison between the Information Security & Data Protection Office and Pre-Sales / Sales departments and providing pre-sales support from information security, data protection, and privacy perspective in responding to customers’ / prospects’ requests for information and proposals, as well as in reviewing and commenting on contractual agreements and relevant documents, alongside the bid team. The Security & Privacy PreSales Support Engineer possesses a solid understanding of Omilia’s products and services, of the company’s information security, data protection, and privacy posture, as well as of the applicable security and regulatory compliance requirements, to consistently assess and validate the level of assurance within our agreements and/or bidding supporting documentation.

Key Accountabilities:

Provide support during the proposal submission process from an Information Security & Privacy perspective
- Participate and support in responding to Customers’ / Prospects’ requests for information (RFIs / RFPs / RFQs) as regards Information Security and Privacy matters.
- Work closely with the Pre-Sales and Sales teams, as well as with Solution Consultants on proposals, SoWs, and pitches for business, in order to support them in handling Information Security & Privacy matters.
- Create and maintain information security, data protection, and privacy documentation related to PreSales, to efficiently complete respective requests; Responsible for storage, retrieval, and revisions of this documentation.
- Support Pre-Sales and Sales teams during their activities from an Information Security & Privacy perspective.
- Participates in the facilitation of the security assessment as part of the bidding/contracting process and any respective yearly reassessments.

Develop job-related expertise and communication skills
- Build productive relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork by keeping ISDP colleagues updated on pre-sales activities.
- Disseminate information to effectively communicate needs and requirements to Pre-sales, to implement uniformity and knowledge.
- Act as both Information Security & Privacy and business consultant.
- Provide assistance to Information Security leadership to develop strategies and plans to introduce additional security and privacy controls and mechanisms, as required by Customers / Prospects.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Studies, Computer Science, Information Security, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
- More than 2 years of working experience in Information Security, Data Protection, Privacy, Compliance Management, and Information Technology.
- More than 2 years of working experience in a Pre-Sales domain.
- Demonstrated experience in work-related RFP/RFI/RFQ and bidding support processes.
- Highly knowledgeable of regulations and security standards such as PCI, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, etc.
- Comprehensive understanding of Technical, Administrative, and Physical controls to safeguard information security.
- Strong interpersonal skills and project management skills.
- Analytical thinking.
- Strong understanding of the Pre-Sales process.
- Effectively communicate technical issues to diverse audiences, both in writing and verbally.
- Work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and adapt to needed changes.
- Ability to work under strict deadlines and remain calm under high pressure/difficult situations.
- Strong skills in written and verbal communication in English.

Nice to have:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Security.
- Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, ISO27001 Lead Auditor, GRCP).
- Excellent understanding of the AI & IT industry.
