The Role
We are looking for a talented and experienced engineer to join our IoT Team.
You will build a young development team accountable for the product delivery and in-life management of our IoT product. A full-stack team, open-minded, eager to learn and experiment with new technologies. We value teamwork and embrace a culture of fully owning our deliverables, meaning we are both autonomous and accountable for them. Highly focused on our customers and determined to build and deliver a valuable proposition.

What you will do:
- Lead the development of robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems using Golang.
- Design and implement efficient and maintainable code, ensuring the best practices in software development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and designers, to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient backend solutions.
- Drive architectural decisions and contribute to the overall system design.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between different components of our platform while ensuring API security, performance, and reliability.
- Design and optimize database schemes and work closely with the database administrators to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the backend systems and continuously optimize and improve the efficiency of existing code and systems.

What you will bring:
- Proven experience (4+ years) as a Backend Developer, with a focus on Go development.
- In-depth understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL), with hands-on experience in optimizing database performance.
- Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, design principles, and best practices.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes) and with CI/CD GIT flows.
