(Lead) Hardware Engineer - PCBs in a startup

Key Responsibilities:
- Leading our electronic circuit and PCB designs initiatives
- Modeling and prototyping of electronic devices
- Preparation for the production of trial and serial batches of PCBs
- Leading firmware development for microcontroller-based devices, their customization and modification

Desired Qualifications:
- Affinity for technology innovation
- Experience in circuit design and design of custom PCBs (e.g. analog-to-digital converter)
- Confident level of proficiency in CAD programs for creating schematics and PCB tracing (KiCad, Altium Designer, etc)
- Knowledge of the modern element base and the main trends in modern electronics
- Knowledge of digital and analog circuitry, including power electronics
- Experience in ordering/manufacturing PCBs for rapid prototyping (e.g. using JLCPCB or alike)
- Experience in developing firmware for microcontrollers (e.g. STM32, nRF)
- Experience with development of low power or battery powered devices
- Experience working with measurement instruments (including electrical, meteorological, acoustic)
- Search for patterns, reverse engineering, analysis of existing circuits and devices
- High level of self-organization, strong analytical skills, attentiveness and responsibility
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English to be able to communicate on technical topics
