Copenhagen-Based Compliance Partners Seeks Back-End Developer for our Compliance Solutions (offline)

Who We're Looking For:

Responsibilities:
- Development of new business initiatives according to business and technical design
- Write integration, functional and unit tests for new services
- Code review
- Collaborate with the development team, product owner and other stakeholders.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness in a cloud environment.
- Utilize cloud computing services and serverless architectures on Microsoft Azure to optimize application performance and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement serverless solutions for various application components.
- Implement security best practices for cloud-based applications, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance standards.
- Optimize application architecture for cloud deployment, leveraging services such as Azure Functions, Azure App Service, Azure PostgreSQL DB, and Azure Storage.
- Monitor and troubleshoot application performance issues in a cloud environment, utilizing Azure monitoring and logging tools.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in cloud computing, serverless architectures, and Azure services.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, with a focus on delivering value to customers efficiently.
Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or other related field.
- English: upper-intermediate and higher, both written and verbal.
- 5+ years of commercial development experience using Java
- 2+ years experience with Spring framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Spring JPA.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
- Experience with messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Familiarity with serverless architectures and event-driven programming models.
- Hands-on experience with TDD practices.
- Experience in developing distributed systems and integrations with other 3rd party systems.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of microservice architecture and API best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple delivery tracks within your area of expertise.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, email & calendar organization, online meetings, and similar digital platforms for efficient remote work
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with integrating with Microsoft Graph API and Google API
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud
- Experience with setting up build pipelines
- Experience in DevOps (Docker/Helm/Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (React or Angular)
