About This Role

We are looking for a talented Next.js Frontend Engineer to join our team. As a Next.js Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for developing user interfaces for our web applications using Next.js, React, and other modern frontend technologies. You will collaborate with our design and backend teams to deliver seamless, performant, and user-friendly experiences to our customers.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain user interfaces for web applications using Next.js, React, and related technologies.
- Work closely with designers to implement user interface designs and ensure a consistent user experience across the platform.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with backend services and APIs.
- Optimize web applications for performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure code quality and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest frontend development trends and technologies.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a frontend engineer, with a focus on Next.js and React development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS/SASS.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

- Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) in Next.js.
- Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Understanding of accessibility and web standards.
