UX/UI Design Lead (offline)

Zutobi is a global edtech product company that provides engaging and innovative digital solutions for driver education.
Our core product Zutobi Drivers Ed is an app and web-based learning platform that helps students to prepare for completing the permit test needed for getting a driver's license.
Now we are launching a new product Zutobi Instructor – a solution that is designed to simplify the daily operations of driving schools.
We want to change the driving school industry by making the best driving school software in the world.

So, currently, we are seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer with strong expertise in UX to join us in this exciting challenge.
We expect you to take on a leadership role quickly after your start.
In this role you will play a pivotal role in shaping both the product design strategy and design processes, while also fostering team growth.

Requirements:
– 5+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer, designing user-centered and compelling web and mobile interfaces for both B2B and B2C products.
– Exceptional UX skills: deep understanding of usability principles and ability to adopt a user-centric perspective
– Proven experience in implementing and refining design processes, as well as a willingness to drive process improvement within our team.
– Experience working in a product company
– Strategic thinking, structuredness and precise attention to detail.
– Proactive and action-oriented approach, ability to drive initiatives forward with accountability.
– Growth mindset: willing to learn and expand skills and knowledge.
– Fluent English proficiency.

Will be a plus:
– Experience in a leadership role, managing, mentoring, and guiding a design team.
– Experience with product growth: A/B testing, ability to transform user analytics insights into design solutions, contributing to the product growth.

Your key responsibilities:
– Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, design and development teams, and end users to set and refine the design vision and design strategy for our products
– Develop design guidelines and promote the utilization of design principles to ensure consistency and user-centricity in our designs.
– Conduct comprehensive UX activities and integrate user insights into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups.
– Manage and guide the design team: oversee design task planning, scoping, and prioritization; conduct performance reviews; and foster the growth of the design team.
– Regularly review designs and provide feedback to ensure the delivery of exceptional usability and the safeguarding of user value
– Conduct workshops and training sessions to share knowledge and best practices with the team.
– Build, enhance, and optimize design processes to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
