With over 12 years of industry presence, our innovative platforms, including a headless media encoding and streaming service accessible via REST API, empower our clients to manage and deliver media content efficiently.

Role Overview
As a Technical Content Writer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the way our users understand and utilize our platforms. Your primary responsibilities will include crafting clear, concise API documentation, engaging how-to guides, and compelling product descriptions to build out our support knowledgebase. Additionally, the ability to produce short explainer videos will set you apart. You'll collaborate closely with our development and QA teams to gain a deep understanding of our products and independently explore the user experience to inform your writing.

Responsibilities
• Develop comprehensive API and product documentation to support developers in integrating and utilizing our platforms.
• Create user-friendly how-to guides and product descriptions that simplify complex technical concepts.
• Define the structure of our support documentation and build a content plan that aligns with product releases and updates.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure accuracy and clarity in all technical documentation.
• Use the product independently to gain insights into the user experience and identify areas for documentation improvement.
• Benchmark the support and API documentation of similar services to guide the build out of the content library.
• Optionally, create short explainer videos to enhance our support and training materials.

Requirements
• Fluent in English, with exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Proven experience in technical writing, specifically in API documentation, user guides, and product descriptions.
• Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand language.
• Experience working closely with development and QA teams, and customers.
• Ability to independently learn and use software products to inform writing and documentation.
• Familiarity with cloud-based media CMS and streaming platforms is highly desirable.

Location: Remote.
Employment: full time contractor.
