Senior Xojo Developer (offline)

Our client is a global leader in colour measurement and colour management, offering hardware,
software and services for measuring, formulating and matching colour. The company is present on
almost all continents and serves industries like automotive, paints, plastics, textiles, printing,
packaging, photography, graphic design, video, dental and medical. For its distributed development
team across the world, we are looking to hire a remote

Tasks
- Develop Xojo cross-platform applications (Mac and Win) for the colour industry
- Write specifications, estimate project costs and durations, release and support applications
- Interact directly with customers on a technical level
- Work in an international environment of software, testing, hardware and firmware engineers
- Participate in deploying software development best practices (incl. code reviews) to the team

Qualifications

Required
- University degree in information technology or software engineering
- At least 5 years of professional experience with Xojo and C/C++
- Solid experience with object-oriented methodologies
- Solid experience with agile methodologies (ideally as a certified Scrum master) and CI/CD
toolchains (SVN, Git, JIRA, InnoSetup, etc.) incl. automated testing
- Familiarity with advanced software engineering concepts (threading, multi-processing, data
structures)
- Experience in effort estimation and writing technical specifications
- Fluent in English (C1)

Beneficial
- Experience with colour science, graphic arts and/or packaging technologies
- Experience with fullstack web development
