Scala Team Lead (offline)
Project Description:
Join our groundbreaking effort in developing a First in Class highload platform dedicated to disseminating reference data across various business sectors. The ISG Cloud platform plays a pivotal role in processing (utilizing apache storm, akka cluster, and akka stream based modules, MongoDB) and distributing data (through REST (Spray), WebSockets, and Web UI (Angular JS)) while upholding stringent SLA and security (OAuth2) standards. Our primary objective is to ensure rapid, secure, and seamless data delivery, bridging the gap between disparate systems and offering extensive customization for data subscriptions to downstream systems.

Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 3-5 developers, guiding them through the development process.
- Engage in the reference data distribution strategy project, focusing on API component development.
- Collaborate within a globally distributed team, enhancing teamwork and project outcomes.
- Create test cases and collaborate with the QA team to ensure comprehensive testing.
- Maintain a clean design and architecture, documenting code and providing samples to API users.
Mandatory Skills Description:
- Demonstrated expertise in Scala with at least 3 years of experience.
- A solid IT background with over 9 years in the industry.
- Proven track record as a Team Lead for at least 3 years.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Java proficiency with over 5 years of experience.
- Familiarity with Mongo DB, Akka, Kafka, and Apache Storm.
- Experience with Docker, Openshift.
Languages:
- English proficiency at a B2 Upper Intermediate level.
