SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER (offline)

As a Senior Developer, you will be part of a team supporting and participating in the ongoing development of leading edge applications. The ideal candidate will be a senior developer who has a strong sense of self and strives for perfection.

As a Senior Java Developer, you will have:

• 4+ years previous Java development experience
• Demonstrated ability and flexibility to manage time and priorities effectively
• Apply initiative and creativity when approaching challenges
• Leadership skills, experience in mentoring junior team members
• Experience with MySQL, DB2
• Solid understanding of development frameworks such as, Spring, Hibernate and Java Enterprise Software Development
• Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Stash, Git, Maven and Bamboo

The following would be considered an asset:

• Experience working in a small company where team work is paramount
• Experience working hand in hand with remote teams is a plus
• Exposure to Sumo Logic and Bamboo scripting would be ideal
• Good knowledge in Java Enterprise Edition and Transactional software is desired
• Experience working on AWS is also desired but not critical
• Experience with JMS specifically with AMQ would be considered a huge plus
