Who are we

The Humancreed platform connects sponsors with talented and vulnerable children in Ukraine to provide them with opportunities for advanced education and extracurricular development. Our goal is to raise the new generation of Ukrainian professionals, champions, and heroes.

Our mission is to provide children in Ukraine and worldwide with opportunities to reveal and develop their talents. This will consequentially reveal the GDP potential of countries and humanity as a whole.

About the role

We are looking for a part-time/freelance engineer; however, this position can become a full-time opportunity with time.

As a member of Humancreed’s Engineering team, you will be responsible for our website improvement. Currently, our focus is on Stipend funds’ pages: general info, donation flow, and reporting about spends and impact.

Our technology stack includes but is not limited to:
* Website: Wordpress;
* Apps: React, React Native, Expo;
* Back-end: Google Firebase, Google Cloud APIs;

Responsibilities

# Development of new modules
# Extending of existing functionality
# Improving platform’s architecture
# Writing unit/integration tests
# Setup task runners and build tools
# Take part in the code review

Your Skills

# Experience in commercial development: 2-3+ years;
# Good competency in WordPress and perhaps some back-end stuff like PHP;
# It would be great if you have experience of working with Google Firebase (however it is not mandatory);
