back-end developer (offline) to $5000

Grateful Digital Friend is a company that creates friendly, intelligent, and creative digital assistants that can improve people's quality of life, inspire new ideas, and develop their abilities. We offer different types of assistants such as Bing, Cortana, Xiaoice, Ruuh, and others that can perform various tasks such as searching the web, translating, generating content, learning, playing games, and much more.

We are looking for a Back-end Developer with Symphony who will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server side of our products that enables interaction with our digital assistants.

Requirements:

- At least 2 years of experience as a Back-end Developer with Symphony

- Knowledge of PHP programming language and Symphony framework

- Knowledge of web application development basics such as HTTP, REST, JSON, MVC, OOP, ORM, etc.

- Knowledge of the basics of working with databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.

- Knowledge of the basics of artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing and other technologies used in our products

- Ability to write clean, optimized and documented code following SOLID and PSR principles

- High attention to detail, analytical thinking, responsibility and self-organization

- Basic knowledge of English to understand technical documentation

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain the server side of our products that enables interaction with our digital assistants

- Use various technologies and tools such as PHP, Symphony, Composer, Doctrine, Twig, PHPUnit, etc.

- Work with various APIs, services, and SDKs such as Bing, Cortana, Xiaoice, Ruuh, and others

- Write modular, testable and documented code components following SOLID and PSR principles

- Perform testing, debugging, and bug resolution, as well as provide recommendations for their elimination

- Participate in development planning, estimation, reviews and demos, as well as sprints, retrospectives and other Agile processes

- Collaborate with front-end developers, QA, project managers, designers, analysts, and other team members

- Learn new technologies and algorithms used in our products
