Rust / C Back-end developer (offline)

Primary Responsibilities
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
- Write well-designed, scalable, and testable code with unit tests and integration tests
- Maintain and develop Postgres Extensions
- Implement and maintain database code in the form of stored procedures, scripts, queries, views, triggers, etc
- Collaborate with the development of new features, enhancements and fix existing system bugs
- Analyze existing code to understand performance impact and propose solutions
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
- Keep on top of new technologies
- Interact with BA's, QA's and other peer to clarify business requirements
- Engage and learn about complex business rules related to supply chain planning
- Support demo development activities
- Provide training and support to internal teams

Qualifications / Skills / Competencies
- 5+ years of experience in Rust/C development of enterprise software systems
- Experience developing Postgres Extensions
- Expert Level SQL, PL/pgSQL, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views
- Knowledge of database design principles, query optimization, index management, integrity checks, statistics and isolation levels
- Strong knowledge of Linux
- Java experience is a plus
