The company

Portside (portside.co) is a well-funded, Silicon Valley based, early-stage technology company behind a SaaS platform serving the global private aviation industry, including individual aircraft owners, corporate flight departments, aircraft management companies, fixed-base operators (FBOs), and maintenance facilities. We provide data & analytics, reporting, and customer communication tools that power the numerous businesses serving a global community of 40,000+ private jets.

Our platform was developed entirely from scratch, beginning a year ago, and using the latest open source technology (our core stack is AWS/Python/Django/React). It is still the early days, and we have a lot of work ahead of us, including an ambitious plan to launch several new product lines over the next year, while supporting the growing deployment of our core platform. Our founders have previously built a Y Combinator company that reached $1 billion in annual sales and was acquired in 2016. Portside is funded by a number of top-notch VC investors.

The role

We are looking for an experienced HTML/CSS developer to join our small, experienced, highenergy & friendly development team. You will be responsible for all HTML/CSS coding and will work closely with engineers, product & founders.

Requirements:
- 3+ years of development experience
- expert proficiency in HTML/CSS
- familiarity with LESS & Bootstrap
- experience with responsive code (desktop, tablet, mobile)
- understanding of cross-browser compatibility
- tools: GitHub and JIRA
- optional bonus skill: JavaScript (React/Redux) – understanding and editing current components and layouts
