Responsibilities:

- Hire and lead a new group of 3-5 development teams, build Tipalti’s engineering presence in Georgia.
- Own the end-to-end delivery of Tipalti’s core products from planning to production, ensure to deliver a high-quality and scalable product at a fast pace.
- Drive engineering excellence through constant improvement in processes, tools, practices, and skills.
- Work closely with our product team and other stakeholders in the building and executing your group’s product roadmap.
- Help your team unlock their full potential by providing coaching and supporting their personal growth.
- Scale our growing engineering team in a new site while upholding a high technical bar.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in an engineering leadership role, preferably in SaaS companies.
- 10+ years in a software development role, designing and building distributed scalable systems.
- Truly exceptional communication skills.
- High level of independence, working in situations of high ambiguity.
- Track record of driving projects and "making things happen".
- Experience in hiring and onboarding teams at scale.
- Occasional global travel required.
