Senior C++ Developer (offline)

We're looking for a remote Senior Developer with proficiency in strong experience in C++ development, good DB (database) knowledge and knowledge of Shell / Perl scripting language to join our team.

The customer is one of the world’s largest providers of financial markets data and infrastructure, serving over 40,000 institutions in approximately 190 countries. It provides leading data and insights, trading platforms, and open data and technology platforms that connect a thriving global financial markets community.

responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code
Implement performance and quality modules
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

requirements

3+ years of previous experience in development and operations, or related IT, computer, or operations field
Strong experience in C++ development
Knowledge of C on UNIX
Ability to debug the code and identify the logic and apply changes if any
Strong analytical skills and technically sound in debugging the code
Knowledge of how to identify what caused the core dump and resolve the issue
Good DB (database) knowledge
Experience in writing PL/SQL and also tune the SQL queries. Oracle database is preferable
Knowledge of Shell / Perl scripting language
Proficient English (written and spoken) B1+
