The skills you will need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have most of the following attributes:
• A Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Experience in a relevant role (3 years)
• Experience with one or more RDBMS
• Experience working with and building REST APIs
• Experience with CI/CD tools
• Self-starter with the ability and drive to research, learn and troubleshoot
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have skills
• Cloud services experience
• Experience working with data scientists on Big Data projects
• Experience working within a Linux environment
• Capacity to work independently and from home

In this position you will be responsible for the following:
• Helping to scope and plan development work
• Researching and sharing current best practices with the team
• Developing scalable cloud-based solutions
• Code reviews and repository management
• Mentoring and assisting other developers
• Implementing and maintaining automated test suites
• Contributing to test plans
