What you’ll do
We are looking for a unique person, our UI/UX Designer. They will work with and complement UX design from our partners (and internal direction) to apply to various, mostly Unreal Engine based projects. Create and provide guidance for UX via Figma to communicate to the intended audience.
Responsibilities:
⏤ Collaborate with the Tech Team to level up the UX & UI tools and features. Be able to relay and explain that problem to the rest of the team and your design decisions
⏤ Analyze user needs to determine technical requirements. Present and pitch designs to Developers, CTO, CEO
⏤ Produce UX design work such as information architecture, user stories, and journey mapping. Understand the existing direction being taken for Unreal UX (e.g. the style change UE4/UE5, Starship UI, etc) to keep stuff consistent with the rest of the Editor
⏤ Work in a fast-paced environment.
What we’re looking for
⏤ 3+ years of experience working collaboratively to design features and complex UX systems through to completion across multiple platforms (mobile, web)
⏤ Excellent knowledge of Figma, the Adobe Suite, and prototyping software
⏤ Experience with 3D creative tools like Maya 3D
⏤ Passion for new technology and an interest and knowledge of Unreal Engine is a huge plus
⏤ UMG/Slate experience is a huge plus
⏤ Knowledge of design patterns such as MVC, and MVVM are a huge plus
⏤ A highly proactive person who is able to work autonomously but really enjoys collaborating as part of the team
⏤ Fluent English
