Competences:
• Demonstrates strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
• Ability to balance what is strategically right with what is practically realistic
• Experience in architecting and designing technical solutions for Microsoft-centric solutions based on industry standards using Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS capabilities.
• Experience with O365, Azure, Azure Stack, Azure AD, Microsoft Defender Portal, Intune
• Experience with claims-based authentication (SAML/OAuth/OIDC), MFA, and RBAC
• Knowledge of cloud security controls, including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.

Responsibilities:
• Design and management of core networking infrastructure (and subsystems) including but not limited to LAN/WAN/WIFI networking, email, virtual private networking (VPN), backup and recovery.
• Administration of security on edge and endpoint devices, including but not limited to firewalls, access controls, antivirus/malware protection, encryption storage and communication channels and overall infrastructure performance management.
• Monitor the security of critical systems and audits changes to their related security controls to ensure appropriate system administrative actions, investigate and report on noted irregularities.
• Assesses IT environment and associated user behavior to ensure the business policies and procedures
• Provide written recommendations for new or changes to existing control mechanisms and procedures and suggest policy updates for concerns beyond technical controls.
• Planning and coordination of internal security audits, vulnerability assessment and gap assessments across internal software development, infrastructure, network and service desk teams
• Conducting or overseeing privacy awareness campaigns, training and orientation for all employees.
• Assessment of technologies and vendors supporting Threat and Vulnerability Management, Security Operations Center and other related defense requirements
• Development of Incident Response and Disaster Recovery plans, design and implementation of systems and procedures to support business recovery objectives
