SDO Solutions Architect (offline)

Customer & project description:
Solutions Architect is a key technical player in the process of presales, starting new projects delivery, and development of the service and engineering practice across all Symphony Solutions projects. Solutions Architects report directly to VP Delivery. They work closely with other SA and with Service Delivery Managers and Product Owners.

Requirements:
Required

*Excellent communication and presentation skills
*Ability to effectively present information to top management and public groups
*5-7 years experience in software development with any of following: Java, C#, Python, Javascript
*Broad knowledge in cutting edge software technologies
*Experience in leading and mentoring one or more software development teams
*Experience with Lean / Agile / Scrum and team scaling practices and frameworks (SAFe, Less or other)

At least one year of experience in solution architecture functions in service or product companies:
o Building trusted relationships with clients / internal customers

o Influencing senior decision-makers

o Leading medium to large size solution delivery projects

o Analysis of business, product, and technology requirements

Excellent knowledge in Computer Science / Programming Theory:
o Databases

o Code testing practices

o Algorithms

o Architectural & Enterprise Patterns

o Design patterns

o Deployment patterns

o Security patterns, computer security, and networking vulnerability

Practical experience with:
o High load systems

o Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)

o Microservices and Serverless architecture

o RDBMS / NoSQL

o Messaging / Service Bus systems

o Version control systems (GIT)

o CI/CD tools (e.g. Gitlab Pipeline, Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo)

o Networking protocols, conventions

o Containerization and Orchestration

Desirable

Experience in Pre-Sales
Gambling domain experience
Experience working with US/European clients
Project and resource management skills
Certifications on: Architecture frameworks, Cloud providers, Scrum or scaling frameworks
Responsibilities:
Pre-sales area
o Engagement with client key stakeholders, presenting company strategy, services. Build trusted relationship with the client

o Find the best among all possible tech solutions based on the Client’s needs and expectations

o Participate in proposal preparation process from the architecture and engineering process perspective

o Work together with Service Delivery Manager and Product Owner on scoping, delivery planning of the projects. Ensure the right estimation process

Delivery area
o Provide customer consulting, participate in discovery phases, requirements analysis

o Participate in projects set-up, gather the team, ensure all required engineering processes are in place and built properly including scoping, planning, designing, delivery, test and deployment of end-to-end solutions

o Basing on functional and non-functional requirements develop architecture for custom solutions

o Select tools and technologies (platforms, HW, SW, security network and other components) for the project.

o Create solution PoC, prototypes

o Act as most Senior technical expert on the project; provide inputs to Developers and QA teams;

Competence management.
o Conduct technical and cultural interviews for key technical roles in the company

o Contribute to Community of Practice for the related tech stack. Ensure the trainings and knowledge sharing activities are aligning with the Company strategy

o Define the competence engineering standards and adjust the recruitment and grading process
