Who We Are

WebriQ (https://webriq.com) is a Singapore-based cloud software company with a sales office in Grand Rapids, Michigan (USA) and a development and service delivery center in Cebu City, Philippines.

The company is one of the pioneers of the Jamstack and serverless applications. The Jamstack is more a software architecture than a stack. The leading technologies used are JavaScript frameworks, Static Site Generators, Headless CMSs, Headless e-commerce, Github, and CDNs. In essence, this is a modern, frontend-centric way to develop and deploy websites and web apps. It also lowers maintenance and hosting costs, pushing static assets through CDN's, edge computing, and Javascript, and API's for everything dynamic.

The WebriQ team comes from the four corners of the world. WebriQ has been operating pretty much virtually since the COVID-19 pandemic, without any disruption in the service delivery or company operations. The company's founder is young in spirit, the rest of the team is young in age and nature. They are all go-getters and doers, and they are all committed to customer success.


At the core, both founders of WebriQ understand customers' digital business needs, and the development team, service delivery team, and customer services team have the right skills and competencies to glue this together to a cohesive digital experience for the customers.

Working at WebriQ will give you the opportunity to interact with the latest and most modern tech stack for Web Development, i.e. JAMSTACK. WebriQ has been one of the first adopters of the JAMStack and has developed hundreds of websites and web apps based on the Stack.

JAMStack promotes a decentralized approach when it comes to building web applications and is relying on modern development tools like ReactJS, MongoDB, GraphQL, GIT, and microservices.

We currently operate mostly from home, office work is possible though on a rotating basis.


THE JOB

SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER(S), with a minimum of two years experience in a similar or equivalent role.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a couple of well-rounded front-end web developers with a strong knowledge of developing websites and web apps with Javascript framework, preferably ReactJS. Familiarity with Static Site Generators (Gatsby or Nextjs) and JS Frameworks like ReactJS are a MUST. Experience with headless CMS, headless ecommerce and Jamstack in general would be great assets to bring to the company.

Other technical skills that will come in handy.

* Knowledge of a back-end programming language Node.js (Javascript)
* API (RESTful Services) and GRAPHQL API development
* Data migration, transformation, and scripting
* Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like Git, Bitbucket
* Experience with building microservices on AWS
