React Native Developer (offline)

About your role and responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer you will help us build new digital ventures from scratch that people love and use.

Your tasks & responsibilities

- Work closely with the backend engineers to develop mobile apps and user-facing features;
- Optimize mobile application for maximum speed and scalability;
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers and Designers to iterate on the design and implementation of our products;
- Ensure quality through close collaboration with your team on code reviews, unit tests, and instrumentation tests;
- Enable other engineers across the company to work more efficiently and productively by sharing best practices, and developing internal tools
Identify areas of improvement and advocate for best practices across your team;

About you

- 6+ years of software development experience with a focus on mobile applications;
- 3+ years of experience with React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript;
- Good understanding of Webpack, Karma, Jasmin, Detox, NPM, Yarn;
- Product mindset with regard to performant UI;
- Experience building & monitoring CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps;
- Experience debugging large-scale mobile applications, tracing and analyzing root causes;
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English

Bonus points if you have

- Experience working outside of the traditional boundaries of a mobile engineering role and find ideal solutions for UX, operations, speed of delivery and security;
- Experience in the development of native mobile apps on Android or iOS;
- Contributed to open source projects
