Senior Backend Engineer (Java) | Undertone (offline) to $7000

Job Responsibilities:

Be a part of a strong team of 5-7 backend engineers responsible for highly performant micro-services clusters built with the most state of the art technologies & architecture.
Lead features from design to production in short iterations using the most advanced engineering practices and processes
Work closely with product, architects, and other R&D teams to deliver the best solutions to the business.
Design the solutions by understanding the needs, choosing the right technologies, and defining the required interfaces.
Monitor the solutions in production to make sure they are stable, scalable, and performant at all times.
Work closely with data sciences experts

Profile and Experience:

+5 years of experience in server development, creating robust and high performing servers, serving millions of requests per day
+5 years of experience in Java programming, including +3 years of experience with the Spring framework.
Experience working with databases (Relational and NoSQL)
Experience with cloud and virtual environments: Amazon, Azure, Docker, K8S – a big advantage
Experience with big data and data sciences – an advantage
Extensive experience in OOP, Unit testing/TDD, continuous Deployment – an advantage
Familiarity with at least one of the following technologies: Spark, Scala, NodeJS - an advantage
Familiarity with the Ad Tech industry and RTB – a big advantage
Fluent verbal and written English skills required
