The Role

As a Drupal Frontend Developer, your primary responsibility will be to translate design into fully functional and responsive web pages on the Drupal platform, using the most advanced technologies to create an excellent user experience.


Requirements

Excellent JavaScript/HTML/CSS skills and good sense for software architecture.
Strong passion for detailed & innovative web design implementation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with frequent releases and tight schedules.
Two Years experience working with the Drupal platform.
Add new JS and CSS functionality and change existing in a Drupal way.
Experience with twig templates.

Preferred Experience or Skills You’re Interested in Learning

Drupal preprocess system.
CSS Preprocessors (SASS, Less, PostCSS, etc.)
Node.js, Grunt, Gulp or Webpack.
jQuery, React, VueJS, AlpineJS, Tailwind.css
Git version control and workflow management.
Working with different platforms such as Magento and Laravel.

Required interpersonal skills

Must have a good command of written & verbal English.
Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and improve technical skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
A team player who can work in multinational, cross-functional teams.


Responsibilities

Create responsive code to ensure that the website will render perfectly on multiple devices.
Work in collaboration with the UX/UI team to turn their vision into a functional design.
Participate in design reviews, code reviews and estimations.
Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Enhance website functionality and user experience.
Test the user interface for accessibility and usability across different devices and browsers.
Seek to improve frontend skills in CSS, JavaScript and complimentary tools and frameworks.
Maintain project workflow and processes.
Collaborate closely with designers, other frontend & backend developers to ensure project quality and that client and company objectives are achieved.
Contribute to Monsoon R&D projects to enhance skills and/or develop features which can be utilized on future projects.
