Unity Software Developer (Gambling) (offline) $4500-5000

Project information:

The client (HQ in London, the UK) is looking for experienced software engineers to join its new Development Support Team.
Your role would be to support all Technology teams with research and development.
Your work will vary depending on the priorities and team requirements. Examples include: helping with Unity upgrades in the Product Engineering teams, developing editor tools and researching potential new workflow improvement tools. You will be a Technical Special Operations Engineer who is skilled at investigating and solving problems.
You’ll be working within a team of 5-6 Unity engineers.
Remote work within GMT time zone (starting at approximately 9-10 am Ukraine time)

Responsibilities:

Plan, design and implement high-quality game features working as part of the wider studio team
Transform design specification into functional game assets
Establish an effective strategy and development pipeline
Quickly create and iterate on prototypes showcasing new designs and interaction patterns
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
Ensure the best performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and games
Identify process and application bottlenecks and implement solutions in a timely manner

Must-have Skills:

● Strong, in-depth Unity knowledge with general technical knowledge across multiple technologies
● Experience with Unity UI
● Strong C# development and experience in other languages
● Solid understanding of object orientated programming, dependency injection frameworks and presentation patterns (MVP, MVC etc.)
● Experience and competence writing reusable tools and scripts
● Ability to easily learn, work and adapt to new problems and new technologies
● Fluency in written and spoken business English
● Motivation, curiosity and a genuine passion for solving difficult technical problems
● Team player able to integrate with a wide range of personalities
● X1 of the 6 roles will be working more closely with Art pipeline and require a slightly different skill-set:
o Deep knowledge of Unity data structures (prefabs, spriteatlases etc.)
o Experience of optimizing prefabs, textures and asset bundles
o Experience of nested prefabs
o Familiar with Unity best practices for assets

Nice-to-haves:

● Experience with mobile platforms (iOS, Android)
● Experience with multiple languages like C#, C, Objective C, C++, Python, Java etc.
● Ability to work with scrum and agile
