.Net Developer for Global Team (offline)

The opportunity
We are looking for a .NET Back-End developer to join our growing Global Team responsible for Valtech Corporate projects. Our projects are built on the latest popular tech-stack: .Net Core, Optimizely (.Net based CMS). Development work is about creating new features, updating, and extending existing functionality. Beside this we are also introducing new solutions/tools/websites by request of our client (Valtech Global organization)

Next.js. Development process is resembling product development since we are basically working on tools and systems that are used by the company on permanent basis. The team has wide flexibility and independency in making technical decisions. Here you can be sure that your great ideas will be welcomed and appreciated. No strict deadlines or precise estimations are required on the project. The team is super friendly and ready to help always, so you can be sure in a very positive atmosphere in the team even though most of the people work remotely from home or different offices.

The whole Valtech Global organization and all Valtech offices worldwide are our stakeholders, and we keep in touch with them on regular basis.

The team consists of 3 Front-End Devs, 3 Back-End Devs, 2 QAs, PM, DevOps, Graphic Designer – working from Ukraine, PO – working from Sweden, Stakeholders – worldwide.

The Ideal Candidate
— 2+ years’ experience of .NET Software development (MVC/Web API)
— Experience working with Content Management Systems
— Experience with integration of 3-rd party systems (by API, DB, etc.)
— Good expertise with OOP/OOD
— Experience in working in distributed Scrum team
— Good spoken and written English
— Proactivity
Optional:
—Experience with Optimizely (ex. EpiServer) CMS.
—Deep knowledge of relative DBs (db objects – stored procedures, views)
— An expertise with TDD
—Experience with Azure
—Experience with TeamCity/Octopus


The Role
As a consultant and as a binding part between developers and our clients you are expected to develop expertise both in technology and the means to communicate complex concepts and rationale to non-techies. We’ll encourage and support this with frequent opportunities to share ideas internally. We also have consultants who frequently deliver at regional, national and global conferences.
