Backend Engineer Who Knows their Algorithms (offline) $5000-10000

Responsibilities

Your initial responsibilities will include:

* Driving implementation of our integration engine, starting with data import, export, and bi-directional sync that works across any combination of third-party applications.
* Owning the infrastructure for building, testing, and maintaining hundreds of connectors to third-party applications. It should be robust enough for us to hire a swarm of freelancers to implement the connectors without spending your time on each of them.
* Creating a simple but powerful integration flow builder for developers based on cloud functions supporting multiple languages.

Expectations

Our main language is Typescript and infrastructure is Kubernetes on AWS. You will play critical role in making architecture in infrastructure decisions going forward.

* Be are really good at creating high-quality complex algorithms fast.
* Product-mindedness: understand and care about what problem your code solves for whom.
* Routinely make complex things simple and easy to understand.
* Be comfortable working with multiple programming languages.
