Senior UX/UI Designer (offline)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with developers and product managers to implement features;
Improve the look and feel of our user experience;
Create overall concepts for the user experience within a end-user portal, ensuring all interactions are intuitive and easy for customers regardless of platform;
Design the aesthetics to be implemented within a end-user portal and internal product--Quantum, from the layout menus and drop-down options to colors and fonts;
Build storyboards to conceptualize designs;
Account for and track the human-computer interaction (HCI) elements of a design;
Conduct testing of completed applications, websites and software to assess user experience;
Ability to work in a agile environment with recurring and ongoing deadlines;
Responsible for UI/UX design across web and mobile;
Implement design patterns and elements which work best for different workflows and types of information;
Working with Marketing, responsibility for creating style guides including, but not limited to typography, color, layout, graphics, visual effects, imagery, iconography, texture, mood;
Produce storyboards, wireframes and requirements and help translate those into visual designs for web and mobile;
Employ a user-focused approach to advocate for the user throughout the design process;
Contribute to our design system and enforce visual design consistency;
Partner with our Product Manager to produce high-fidelity prototypes and wireframes for inclusion into Product Requirement documents.
Qualifications:
BA degree in Design or a related field or equivalent work experience;
2+ years experience designing for web and mobile;
Experience with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Sketch, Invision, Figma or similar tools;
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, detail oriented and receptive to feedback;
Self-motivated to prioritize and handle workload and meet critical project deadlines;
Experience with coding and ability to troubleshoot using HTML, CSS and comparable languages.
