Arlo company provides devices and services for Smart Home System, including security with AI. The company entered the market 5 years ago for US country and continued development. About two years ago Arlo started to expand outside the US. Today, it works for 5 continents and 60+ countries.

The Direct Dispatch project is a new direction for Arlo company in Smart Home Security. The project is a part of Professional Monitoring and allows users to call emergency services in the mobile app when it is required, including calling the services automatically by smart devices when AI detects some alarming event.
Arlo is based on microservices architecture with CI/CD support. The Direct Dispatch project uses the following technologies:
The programming language is still Java 8.
Frameworks: Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring Web
Amazon Services: DynamoDB, Secrets Manager, Pinpoint, SQS, Lambda,ect.
Databases: DynamoDB, Redis
Publishing: MQTT, RabbitMQ
Unit Testing: Groovy + Spock

Required skills
1.5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE
Understanding of OOP principles
Understanding of software best practices (design and architectural patterns)
Good knowledge of classic algorithms and data structures
Understanding of REST API architecture principles
Confident knowledge of Spring Stack (Сore, MVC, Boot)
Nice to know:
Experience working with NoSQL databases (Redis, DynamoDB)
Understanding Agile development methodologies
Experience in AWS
Experience with any pub/subsystem
