Senior Java Developer Offline

Our client is a fully remote tech-enabled design company targeting the very best designers and project managers from top-tier agencies anywhere in the world. Today, they have 130 employees in 50 countries. The company is backed by Sam Altman (former president of Y Combinator), Geoff Ralston (president of Y Combinator), Paul Buchheit (creator of Gmail), Slack Fund, Freestyle Capital, High Alpha Capital, and Alliance Ventures. Their clients are primarily US-based brands, which include Amazon, Puma, Twitch, S&S Activewear, Cisco, Tiffany & Co., and others.

Now they are looking for a Remote Senior Java Developer who will be leading the work on building the monitoring system for the whole application from the server point of view.

Requirements

Must-have skills:

- Experience with Kotlin and/or Java 5+

- Experience with AWS, Terraform, Jenkins

- Experience in distributed systems and migration from a monolithic service to microservices

- Strong knowledge in SQL and RDBMS databases

Nice-to-have skills:

- Spring Boot and Hibernate

- Team leading experience
