Senior Java Spring Boot Developer (offline) $5000-5500

Works under direction of Cleint’s senior chief architect.
Act as a liaison between the business analyst team and our software development team:
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and possess a strong work ethic
• Proactively seeks out and suggests opportunities for improvement
• Thrives in a remote work environment with a distributed team

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science (or similar field) or higher;
• Ability to perform own research independently to close knowledge gaps and find answers to questions;
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements and design;
• Ability to answer very technical developer questions by analyzing source code;
• Ability to debug through source code and troubleshoot issues;
• Ability to translate high-level API documentation into sample requests/method calls for developers to reference;
• Ability to generalize a very technical developer question so that the customer or business analyst understands the issue and impact of potential options/alternatives;
• Ability to troubleshoot and pinpoint performance issues in the whole application stack (network layer, database / query issues, application issues) and offer options to resolve

Skills:
• at least 4 years Java (language level Java8 or Java11) experience, at least 1 year in senior/lead developer role;
• At least 3 years' experience with SQL (DDL, DML statements), performance optimizations;
• At least one successful major project implemented (or mainly participated) with Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate stack;
• Experience with GIT source control system;
• Experience with web-based UI technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript);
• Experience with web services and related technologies (SOAP, XML, XSD, REST, JSON);
• Preferred: Spring Boot, Groovy/Grails;
• Fluent English – must be able to hold conversation with native us-speakers
