Senior Back End Developer for Ciklum New Client (offline)

On behalf of Ciklum New Client, Ciklum is looking for a Senior Back End Developer to join the Kyiv team on a full-time basis.

We work alongside the product team to engineer and execute the unique features of our employee experience platform.

Responsibilities
- Develop transformative products and features, while building modules, data pipelines, and services. You will be responsible for owning the dev cycle from design to production and monitoring for set KPIs to measure success
- You will build our Client’s Payroll hub that helps companies streamline their payroll processing
- Build an integration between our Client’s payroll hub to regions across the globe payroll services using public API’s

Requirements
- At least 4 years experience in developing Java/Scala backends for web/mobile
- Experience developing multi-threaded applications
- Experience with dependency injection frameworks
- Knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL or equivalent)
- A passion for building products and helping people (Customers and colleagues)
- Experience with Play! Framework in Scala – an advantage
- Knowledge in AWS
- Knowledge in testing methodologies (Unit-testing, TDD, mocking)
- BSc in computer science or equivalent
