Senior Product Designer (offline)

The Senior Product Designer at Liberty Lending is responsible for bringing new ideas to life, from sketching and wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes, visual design, asset production, and developer handoff.

Responsibilities:

● Design flows and user-centric design interactions that are delightful, simple, elegant, and easy-to-use, leveraging business objectives, consumer insights, data, and user research.
● Partner with product managers, engineering, and business stakeholders to ideate and create consumer experiences from concept until launch.
● Facilitate discussions and design thinking/feedback sessions with stakeholders and the project team.
● Execute and deliver creative, ranging from low-fidelity wireframes to prototypes to final high-fidelity designs.
● Leverage insights, analytics, and customer feedback to ensure strategic and effective design.
● Ensure the company's brand is accurately and consistently applied in every design deliverable
● Approach the design system and interaction patterns holistically to ensure consistency of reusable patterns across the experience
● Mentor designers by providing clear design guidance and actionable suggestions

Desired Experience:

● Bachelor's / BFA in Graphic Design
● 5+ years professional design experience
● Understanding of financial services/FinTech industries
● Strong product mindset and user-centered design skills
● High proficiency in creating wireframes, diagrams, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
● Experience collaborating directly with product managers, engineers, business stakeholders, and end-users to develop design concepts.
● Data-driven mentality with experience running experiments (e.g., A/B tests), researching user behavior, and analyzing data across analytical platforms (e.g., SQL, Excel, Kibana, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, and Optimizely)
● An exceptional and well-rounded portfolio showcasing an ability to work across a range of mediums
● Proficient with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
● Experience with interactive prototyping tools (Framer, Principle, Origami, Invision Studio, etc.)
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Experience articulating design vision through verbal and written explanation, sketching, or quick mock-ups to small or large groups, from designers to the leadership team
● Self-managed, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple project priorities simultaneously in an agile environment.
● Experience managing and mentoring other product designers
