macOS/iOS Software Engineer (offline)

You will join an existing team of fifteen members — a product manager, six software engineers, two designers, five marketers, one product analyst. We each have our area of expertise, but our contribution to the product's growth reaches far beyond our typical specialties. With one more mature macOS/iOS Software Engineer, you will influence everything related to application development for iOS (iPhone/iPad) and macOS.

You are the right fit for this role if you are responsible and independent, have a passion for creating new solutions, and have a wide range of knowledge in the development (not only in your area but also in best engineering practices as well). We also hope you’ll be a good communicator who likes constructive discussions, and you’re able to support your opinion with arguments and facts.

*Responsibilities*
— Development of ClearVPN iOS (iPhone/iPad) and macOS applications, improve UX and complex UI
— Work on the enhancement of algorithms and app’s performance
— Brainstorm and develop a new product from scratch
— Cooperate with test engineers to resolve code issues
— Validation of user-feedbacks
— Hypothesis-driven validation
— R&D of development possibilities for a product

*Requirements*
— 4+ years of macOS/iOS development experience (Objective-C and Swift knowledge)
— Understanding of macOS/iOS system structure (what are the bundles/packages, where user files are stored, what are user defaults, what is agent/daemon, app bundle structure, etc.)
— Good knowledge of REST/JSON API
— Experience with GIT/CI/CD
— Good skills in CoreAnimation. Hands-on experience in creating CALayer-based animations and views
— Knowledge of OSI Model, networking
— Product development mindset
— Upper-intermediate level of English

— Understanding of privileged Operations Execution on macOS
— Experience with Swift Package Manager
— Hands-on gRPC experience
— TCP/UDP Data Streaming experience
— Network Extensions experience
— Reverse Engineering experience
— GoLang skills
