Node.js developer (contract) (offline)

Responsibilities
-Executing full lifecycle software development
-Programming well-designed, testable, efficient code
-Working together with your colleagues to identify and implement technical designs
-Developing the backbone of our system according to the agreed specifications
-Maintain and improve existing codebases and peer review code changes
-Enhance applications by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations and designing and implementing systems
-Improving system quality by identifying issues and common patterns, and developing standard operating procedures
-Provide written knowledge transfer material

Qualifications
-Strong technical background with a primary focus on back end, data modeling and data structures
-Strong knowledge of NodeJs
-Experience with PostgreSQL
-Good knowledge of GCP
-Experience with distributed, event driven systems and business process automation
-Ability to work independently and drive topics end to end - concept, design, build, ship and run
-Ability to make the right trade offs between solution perfection and time to market - get 80% of the outcome with 20% of the effort
-Ability to adapt quickly and learn new technologies, tools and frameworks fast
-Ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations and drive outcomes to the finish line
-Strong communication skills - you are able to explain complex concepts in simple terms and to summarize ideas with a good balance between not enough information and too much context
