Senior Java Software Engineer (offline)

Our customer is an American investment management firm which relies on timely delivery of precise macroeconomic measures in order to make investment decisions. It serves approximately 350 of the largest and most sophisticated global institutional clients including public and corporate pension funds, university endowments, charitable foundations, supranational agencies, sovereign wealth funds, and central banks. By having the deepest possible understanding of the global economy and financial markets and translating that understanding into great portfolios and strategic partnerships with institutional clients, they've built a distinct track record of success.

REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of experience in Java development
Expertise in Java 8+ (Core, Multi-Threading, Java Concurrency Framework)
Proficiency in Spring Boot
Experience in relational databases
Comprehensive knowledge and experience in developing highly reliable, scalable real-time services, including knowledge of designing RESTful web services
Strong understanding of ELK stack: Elastic search, Logstash, Kibana
Experience in relational DB (ideally neo4j)
Experience of working with development tools and SCM (Gradle, Jenkins, Sonar, GitLab)
Experience in working with Amazon Web Services (AWS): S3, SQS
Comprehensive knowledge of design patterns, good practices and Clean Code rules
Strong communication skills
Proactivity
Flexibility (ability to adjust a solution and suggest ideas to accomplish business goals)
Ability to work as a technical lead
Excellent time management, planning, organization and prioritization skills
Intermediate or higher English level, both spoken and written (B1+)
