A bit about the job

Our product:
Dashboard — for the universities;
Widget — for the prospective students;
Mobile application — for the student ambassadors.
Technologies we’re using: React, Node.js, React Native, Git, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, Docker;
Our team is split between The UK and Ukraine. The engineering team consist of a Director of engineering with over 15 years of experience in development, 3 full-stack, 1 front-end, 1 back-end developers, 2 QA engineers, and 1 Product designer;
Our relationships are based on trust so working arrangements are flexible. At the moment, everyone is working remotely. Working from the office might be reviewed when life gets back to normal.

What you’ll be doing

Developing new features on both front and back-end for the TAP Educational Platform;
Participating in code review and improving code coverage and quality with unit tests;
Making decisions regarding app architecture and database design.

The person we’re looking for

3+ years of hands-on experience with web development;
At least 2 years’ experience using modern frameworks (ReactJS/VueJS/AngularJS) and Nodejs;
Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application;
Good knowledge and experience working with databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis);
Experience in leading design and architecture related activities;
Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment;
Good knowledge of git, experience with GitLab/GitHub .

Nice to have

Experience working with AWS or other cloud providers;
At least intermediate level of English;
Autonomous, fast-learner, and proactive.
