Senior Java Developer (offline)

Project Description:

About the client: Our client is a leading UK Portfolio Management provider.
Our team: We are building a new team from scratch to work with a new client.
About the project: The client is looking for an extension of the existent team for on-going project related to P&L calculation and reporting. Successful candidate will join a highly professional client team and will be working with the client directly.
About the work conditions: The project will be operating in WFH mode for the time of quarantine.

Responsibilities:

Communicating with client on requirements clarification.
Proposing the solution, application design.
Programming in Java, SQL.
Creation of unit tests.

Must have skills:

At least 5 years of experience Java (Spring, JDBC, Web services).
Strong SQL query writing skills.
Experience in financial domain (one of the following: market risk, derivative pricing and analytics, market data) is a must.

Nice to have:

Understanding of risk calculations would be a plus
