Senior JavaScript Engineer​ (Team Leader) (offline)

About the vacancy

Our client specializes in the production of consumer goods. Headquarters are located in England and the Netherlands. The task of the project is to strengthen the client’s existing technical team in order to develop a new digital customer platform.

Note that we hire specialists not to the project, but to one of DataArt’s companies. If the project is over, or you become uncomfortable in it, you can discuss a transition to another project.

Must have
- 4+ years of experience with web technologies
- Development experience using React.js
- Experience in leading a distributed team
- Experience with JavaScript (ES6 +), TypeScript, and SASS
- Experience with CSS frameworks (Twitter Bootstrap, Foundation, Material UI)
- Knowledge of code testing techniques (including BDD, TDD).
- Experience with Jest
- Experience using the JAMStack approach
- Good spoken English

Would be a plus
- Knowledge of and experience with SEO optimization (page load speed, organic SEO, etc.)
- Experience with other JavaScript frameworks
- Experience with e-commerce: Shopify or others
- Experience with Sanity.io
- Experience with static site generators: Gatsby.js, Next.js
